Over 20 specially developed productions will bring quality live arts education to thousands of students state-wide, taking their imaginations to new, exciting places with the performing arts next year.

Queensland Arts Council's Schools Program is a multi-strand live arts program tours some of the state’s leading artists and performing arts companies direct to schools all over Queensland.

Supporting small schools

We have introduced a Small Schools Subsidy Scheme to allow small schools under 100 students that cannot raise our minimum charge to apply for support to receive performances. We have implemented several strategies that aim to source diverse support to ensure that no school is disadvantaged.

Access for regional and remote schools

72% of Queensland Arts Council's Schools activity is accessing Queensland’s regional and remote schools, making it the largest live arts education program of its kind in Australia. We aim to reach as many regional, rural and remote schools as possible.
