Zeal Theatre Qld has extensive experience in exploring delicate youth issues in a dynamic way. In 2010, Zeal productions The Stones and The Apology tour Queensland schools, addressing bullying and consequences of actions.

Zeal Theatre is a touring theatre company based in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1989 by actor/writer/director Stefo Nantsou, Zeal is dedicated to creating original, educative and entertaining theatrical productions for theatres, schools, universities, national and international festivals.
Through a carefully balanced mix of comedy and serious drama the play makes its important points. Of their over 40 original productions, more than half have been specifically created for teenage audiences.
Queensland Arts Council and Zeal Theatre Qld recognise the need to provide schools with opportunities to address serious teen issues, such as actions and consequences, binge drinking, bullying and drugs, and the peer pressure that leads to them. These performances are a catalyst for proactive discussion between students and teachers and guardians. They are a dynamic and high impact way of reiterating your schools social values.
Zeal Theatre has received numerous Awards: CONDA Awards, a NSW Frater Award, The Don Mackay Award and the inaugural DramaVic Award. In 2005, Zeal Theatre was awarded the ASSITEJ President’s Award in Montreal, Canada for “outstanding services to the theatre for young people industry”.
